Privacy
This is a joke website about when it's acceptable to put up Christmas decorations. There's no court. Here's what actually happens with your information.
The People's Vote
When you vote, we add one to a running total. The total doesn't record who voted. A small cookie remembers which items you've voted on, so each browser gets one vote per item. It stays in your browser for about four months.
Ask The Judge
Your question goes to Anthropic's Claude API so the judge can answer it, and the answer comes back to you. We don't store your question or the answer on our server. We keep a count of how many questions were asked today. Anthropic handles the text under its own commercial terms. Please don't type anything personal into a question for a puppet.
Rate Limits
To stop people from running up the bill, we count votes and questions per visitor per hour. We store that count against a scrambled version of your IP address that changes every day and can't be turned back into your address.
Report A Neighbor
The notice is built in your browser and printed from your browser. Nothing you type there is sent to us.
The Shop
If you buy something, you pay on Stripe's checkout page, and Stripe handles your card, name, email and address. We never see your card number. Printful gets your name, shipping address, email and phone so it can print and ship the order. We keep a small record that an order went through, not a customer list. Your cart stays in your own browser until you check out.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense, which is how this site pays for itself. Google and its partners, who are third-party vendors, use cookies to serve ads. Those cookies let them base ads on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. We don't see or control who those cookies identify, and we don't give advertisers your votes or your questions.
You can turn off personalized ads from Google at Google's Ads Settings, and you can opt out of some other vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info. Google explains how it uses data from sites like this one at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Depending on where you live, you may see a message asking for your consent to these cookies. You can change your choice through that message.
Your Browser
Your browser remembers your contempt count, sound setting and votes locally, on your device. Clearing your site data clears all of it, and the Court will have forgotten everything.
